Ignorance is bliss

It's a saying that "ignorance is bliss", but I will say in some cases knowledge is power.
Near my society, I went to a vendor to inquire about birth certificate and address change of my Aadhar card. He charged 1000rs for birth certificate and 450rs for change in address on Aadhar Card. That too I have to wait till February for all these Aadhar card changes. All these charges seemed unreasonable to me so I went to the Municipality office to enquire. There I made a birth certificate for my younger kid in just 1day. The making charge of birth certificate is only 10rs. This work was pending for last 2years. Address change was done for only 50rs. In case of kids who are below 5years, the making charge of Aadhar card is free. Government has provided us with so many facilities. We due to our ignorance cannot take benefit from these schemes. Due to our ignorance, the middlemen are taking advantages of us. So literacy is one of the strong pillars to the foundation of a strong country. We should all help in spreading our knowledge.
