It's the second part of All the King's men duet. First being the Kingmaker. I fall in love with this series because Kennedy Ryan has a beautiful writing style. It's full of interesting turning points and full of suspense. The lead characters i.e Maxim and Lennix are very strong characters. Both of them are hardworking, full of ambition and do getter persons. In this part, they face all the problems in their life together as a couple. Their relationship developed leaps and bounds. How two headstrong persons when in a relationship compromise to make the relationship work.
Nice read and a good ending.
