Some novels are a little bit predictable, Some bind your attention till the end. This Bethrothed series by Penelope Sky is one of them.
The 10 book series revolves around lead characters Hade, Sofia, Damien and Anna.
First lead pair id Hades and Sofia. The second pair is Damien and Anna.
Hades and Damien are best friends since college and partner in the drugs business. Once when they were roaming on the streets of Marrakech, Morocco. They came across a Gypsy predicting their future. Throughout the series, we see how the predictions come true and how the lead characters face those hurdles.
Hades is underworld drug dealer who met with Sofia at her father's party. As she was very young Hades left her with some hot steamy kiss and some advice. Later in their life, they came across again. In the second encounter, Hades pursued Sofia. When they both delved into a relationship Hades wanted some more from this relationship but Sofia just wanted it to be a fling. How they developed their feelings and how their relationship goes through ups and down is the centre of the theme. Due to some hasty decisions of Damien Hades suffered a lot and later on the two best friends drifted apart. So this series is the journey of Hades and Hades. I enjoyed it a lot. It is a fast-paced novel full of twists. Its interesting novel as the turning points are unpredictable. It has lots of steamy scenes between lead pairs. A bit cheesy with lots of romance.
